TAC 2017 Conference

The 2017 TAC conference will be held in the School of Chemistry, University of Lincoln, 10th to 12th April 2017

Day 1 – Mon 10th April 2017 - 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
Short course on Complementary Techniques in Thermal Analysis
(download flyer)

A wide range of techniques are available to the modern thermal analyst. This intensive short course will show how these can be used in combination or linked with other techniques to enable a more complete characterisation of the properties of materials.

All course participants will receive a copy of the Royal Society of Chemistry book “Principles of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry” produced by the TMG in 2016.

A Certificate of Professional Development (CPD) will be issued to those attending the one day course.

Day 2 & 3 – Tue 11th April 2017 - 9:30 am to 5:00 pm and

                       Wed 12th April 2017 - 9:30 to 12:00 pm

Problem Solving using a Combination of Thermal Analysis Techniques
(download flyer)

This seminar aims to bring together scientists, engineers, metrologists and industry specialists to present and discuss the research, innovative developments, economic impact of the data generated and measurement solutions offered by wide-ranging thermal analytical techniques.

In addition, there will be a general session on any topic in thermal analysis and calorimetry.
